CCG Holiday Giveback 2021 Grand Success!

December 20, 2021 | By Chesapeake Contracting Group | Community Involvement

The CCG Team had another successful and rewarding Giveback for 2021. Eleven families or groups in need across the Mid-Atlantic region received financial support during the holiday season - whether it was helping a family in need of basic necessities, donating urgently needed items to a local shelter or gifting toys to a local children’s hospital, CCG helped many in need this past holiday season.

This giveback opportunity has allowed many CCG team members to reflect on how meaningful this initiative is. See below for quotes from our team members on how this holiday giveback experience has impacted them:

I was truly proud to be part of such a caring and giving group of people.  The insight of the management that saw such benefit in coming together in service shows the caring of this company from the top down.

Jeff Konkus, Project Manager

I am very grateful for this opportunity to give back to our community.  It was amazing to see such a great turn out of Chesapeake employees who showed up to deliver these gifts. I was trying to choke back the tears. It truly is humbling going into the Holidays!

Jessica Magin, Human Resources Director

The family was so happy and appreciative! I’m so glad I was a part of this special occasion!  I didn’t do much but held a present for someone I don’t know, but it humbled me!

Gary Dowdy, Superintendent
