Women in Construction Week | Project Management

March 11, 2022 | By Chesapeake Contracting Group | Women in Construction

Friday’s #WICWeek2022 spotlight is on the women of Project Management at Chesapeake Contracting Group.

Project Managers are the main point of contact for our clients and subcontractors and enjoy problem solving and building relationships with others. Our Project Management teams develop, coordinate, implement and manage all facets necessary to construct the project on time and within budget.

Kristen Pressimone has been with CCG for the last 15 years, working her way up to Project Manager in 2019. Kristen has now taken on a mentoring role, training recently promoted Hannah Kubon in her new Project Engineer position. When asked how the industry can attract more female candidates, Kristen explains, “I think marketing female leaders and having them as role models is helpful. When I was learning, there weren't many female leaders that I could lean on when I needed that womanly side of advice and guidance.”

Thank you to the women of Project Management for all that you do!
