August 16, 2022 | By Chesapeake Contracting Group | Project Spotlight

40TEN Project Update

Baltimore’s first mass timber office building has reached an exciting and monumental phase.

CCG is currently completing the third floor of the 40 Ten Office Building DLT (Dowel Laminated Timber) panels with a temporary weather barrier, and LGMF framing and MEP Rough-in for the floors below. At this time, CCG has finished the Glulam columns for the first floor and Glulam columns and beams for the second floor.

The 40TEN Boston project will feature exposed timber structure, expansive glass lines, 15’ high floor to ceilings, expansive common area amenity space and a roof top deck. When the project is complete, the Class-A office building will be four stories and 94,000 SF.

Chesapeake proudly continues our longstanding partnership with 28 Walker Development as the general contractor on this distinctive project.
