Morningstar Woodberry Storage

Morningstar Woodberry Storage is a new, 5-story, 148,000 SF storage building coming to Baltimore City. Visible from I-83, this 1,059 unit storage facility will be a steel structure with a mix of EIFS and metal panel façade. Scope of work included existing building demolition and associated sitework.

Chesapeake has completed the steel structure, floor slabs and roof. We’ve been framing, installing wind girt framing and Insulate Metal Panels (IMPs). We’ve field measured and will start window framing system within the next few weeks. CCG has started curbs and gutters and will be paving over the next couple weeks. Plans for art murals, signage, new solar systems, office interior work and security are also underway. Completion anticipated for late fall 2022.
