Volunteering at Camp NAWIC

Last month, the Women of Chesapeake ERG were proud to volunteer at Camp NAWIC Baltimore, a hands-on summer program introducing high school girls to the many career paths available in the construction industry.

From touring the P. Flanigan & Sons, Inc. asphalt plant and the The Public Works Experience, to learning how to operate an excavator and visiting Baltimore Gas and Electric, our team loved being part of this unique program that builds skills, sparks curiosity, and empowers the next generation of women in construction.

We’re grateful to NAWIC Baltimore Chapter #135 for creating such an impactful camp, and to the campers for bringing so much energy and excitement to every activity!
