Construction Underway at Frederick Brickworks Mixed-Use Development

Chesapeake Contracting Group and CCG Residential are proud to be part of the team bringing Frederick Brickworks to life, a transformative 65-acre mixed-use development that will redevelop a historic industrial site into a vibrant destination for the Frederick community.

Located near downtown Frederick, the project is planned to include a diverse mix of residential, retail, recreation, and public gathering spaces, along with approximately 130,000 square feet of commercial space. Designed to blend new development with the site’s historic character, Frederick Brickworks aims to create a dynamic environment where residents, businesses, and visitors can live, work, and connect.

As a testament to the strength and capabilities of our organizations, Chesapeake and CCG Residential have been entrusted with all three major construction components of the development:

Site Development
Retail Construction
Multifamily Apartment Construction

This comprehensive scope reflects our ability to deliver complex mixed-use developments through every phase of construction, from infrastructure and site work to commercial buildings and residential communities.

Representing more than $450 million in investment, Frederick Brickworks is poised to become a significant new gateway to downtown Frederick while contributing to the continued growth and revitalization of the region. Once complete, the development will provide new housing opportunities, commercial space, public amenities, and gathering areas that support the long-term vision for the community.
