The Ella at Carillon Ground Breaking Ceremony

September 30, 2021 | By Chesapeake Contracting Group | Industry Highlight

The CCG team took part in the ceremonial Ground Breaking event at The Ella at Carillon project in Prince George’s County, Maryland. This new, 128,000 SF, 5-story, steel framed medical office building marks the start of the development plan located next to the University of Maryland Capital Region Health’s new hospital at Largo Town Center.

A carillon is a musical instrument composed of at least 23 bells, arranged in sequence according to their pitch, to produce harmony when many bells are sounded together. Paying homage to Ella Fitzgerald, The Ella at Carillon is just the start to this exciting arrangement coming together in Largo, MD.

“CCG is pleased to have been awarded the contract for this impressive medical office building. This project proudly incorporates county based, minority business enterprises and local subcontractor participation. Having been actively building in Prince George’s County for decades, we look forward to continuing our presence in Largo by working with such a reputable and visionary developer like RPAI,” states Bobby Ginsberg, CEO.
