GAF Newkirk West Highlighted in NAIOP MD Article

EJ Youngling, Vice President at Chesapeake, was recently interviewed by NAIOP MD regarding GAF Newkirk West, an industrial project that was awarded NAIOP Maryland Award of Excellence earlier this year.

In the article, NAIOP highlights the high-tech needs of today’s industrial market, using GAF as an example. GAF Materials Corporation expanded and modernized it’s Baltimore distribution center, creating a 50,000-square-foot facility across Newkirk Road from its existing building. The project included linking the two structures with a bridge for their conveyor systems and installing a new robotics system.
