GAF Newkirk West Expansion

Chesapeake is pleased to announce the successful completion of the GAF Newkirk West Expansion in Baltimore, MD. This 49,600 SF industrial project features a 1-story tilt-up structure, 20+ acres of site development, and a connector bridge.

The new conveyor bridge across S Newkirk Street linked the two facilities, optimizing and streamlining the manufacturing and distribution process by maximizing operational efficiency. Working closely with Urban Design Group, the project incorporates green technologies throughout the building design and the site, decreasing energy consumption for the facility.
