Morningstar Woodberry Self Storage

Morningstar Woodberry is a new, 5-story, 148,000 SF storage building coming to Baltimore City. Located on Union Avenue, this 1,059 unit storage facility will be a steel structure with a mix of EIFS and metal panel façade. Scope of work included existing building demolition and associated sitework.

Recently completed are cast-in-place concrete and segmental site retaining walls. Currently in progress are concrete foundations including perimeter walls and column footings, with concrete grade & cantilever beams to follow in the coming days. In conjunction with foundations, CCG is also installing below grade piping for storm and sanitary lines. The extension of the sanitary sewer system was recently installed, along with a majority of the storm utility structures and piping. Steel erection is scheduled to start in early November
