As we wrap up Women in Construction Week 2023, Chesapeake associates held a happy hour at Guntry to recognize and celebrate women in the industry. Associates were able to connect with one another, play pool, old arcade games, and team build by immersing themselves in a state-of-the-art shooting simulator.

WICWeek recognizes and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. In 2022, women made up 10.9 percent of the construction workforce in the U.S. and in the last six years, the number of women in the industry has grown by 117%. Here at CCG, we are proud to support the women in the construction workforce and thank them for all their hard work.
