Women in Construction Week | Accounting

This year, we’re celebrating the women of Chesapeake during #WICWeek2022 by highlighting the women within various departments at CCG. From field operations and project management to safety and human resources, every person plays a vital role in keeping CCG running like a well-oiled machine.

To kick off this exciting week, we’re starting with the Accounting Department. CCG’s accounting team works closely with project management, our valued trade partners and clients to keep all finances in order. Last year alone, CCG’s accounting department printed 5,876 checks and processed 7,906 invoices. CCG Controller, Kaitlyn Allgood’s words of wisdom for someone new entering the industry is to “be teachable and coachable. A willingness to learn will set you apart from your competition. Take the class, get the certification, attend the webinar and ask the hard questions.”

In addition to the #WICWeek2022 spotlight, we have exciting news happening within the Accounting department – congratulations to Rachel Ebberts on her recent promotion to Senior Project Accountant.
